NICO AND JIM:
In August of 1967, Jim left Pamela Courson and started a passionate relationship with Nico (Christa Paffgen). She was a model and Andy Warhol’s muse.
Nico was truly in love with Jim, it was more than one night stand. She was afraid of all the feelings she was having for him. They scaped to the desert sometimes, consuming acid, and having spiritual trips.
Jim told her about his fixation with redhead girls, Nico was natural blonde, but she dyed her hair with a bright red.
Nico told many years before, “He was the first man I felt in love with, I was so in love with him that I even dyed my hair with red. I wanted to please his wishes, like a teenager or something”, when Jim saw the result started to cry.
She asked him to propose marriage to her, but he laughed so hard that fell off the chair and she slapped him.
The things both written became part of Nico’s album “The Marble Index”. She was pretty afraid of singing, but Jim gave her confidence to do it.
The relationship overed a few weeks later and Jim came back to Pam as always.
Nico dyed her hair again, with a red even brighter than the first time. Four years later, Jim died. When she heard the sad news, bought all the newspaper of Paris and London and cried while she was reading the news.
When she stopped crying, went to her bathroom and washed the red colour of her hair away. Then, she dyed it of a black colour and keep it till many years later.
She had relationships with Brian Jones, Allain Delon, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed.
On 1988, Nico fell of her bike while she was at Ibiza and died of a stroke. The spoilage because of the drugs was obvious.
Nico was buried in Berlin next to her mother Margaret in a graveyard in the middle of the woods.
